Lou Karnezis

Mr. Karnezis focuses his practice primarily in the areas of Divorce and Family Law litigation and counsels clients on the various aspects of dissolution of marriage and paternity proceedings, including child custody, support, visitation, property division, financial issues related to divorce, post-dissolution matters, prenuptial agreements and civil litigation related to orders of protection. 

Mr. Karnezis focuses his practice on complex matters and counsels clients that require the utmost attention and confidentiality. His primary goal is to assist his clients in resolving difficult family matters and helping them move forward with their lives in a cost-effective and respectful manner. 

Mr. Karnezis has litigated over 80 jury trials and has settled hundreds of cases. While Mr. Karnezis’ trial record speaks for itself, when costly litigation can be avoided, his approach to matters includes mediation to settle cases efficiently and expeditiously.

Mr. Karnezis’ commercial litigation practice has involved representing clients entering into new businesses and engaged in business disputes for more than 20 years. Mr. Karnezis has used his experience to provide advice on the litigation or resolution of all types of disputes that affect businesses, including the myriad of disputes that arise from the organization (including partnership and shareholder disputes), operation, and dissolution and winding down of businesses.
